A Word from THE WORD

Good Morning Happy Church,

Today is Tuesday, February 23^rd, 2016. Today is the 54^th Day of 2016.

There are only 312 days left in this year; and, there are only 47 Days Left until Our Spring Revival Begins!

We will begin the Revival Meetings on Saturday, April 9^th with a Banquet and Sermon at 6pm.

Sunday, April 10^th, we will hear Bro Bobby at 10am and again at 6pm.

Monday and Tuesday, April 11^th and 12, we will hear Bro Bobby at 7pm each night!

Please clear your schedule to attend as many of these meetings as possible.

As I often say, “The two things you have to invest to be blessed are your Attendance and your Attention!”

Please be in prayer for Dr. Bobby and Sandra Boyles as they travel here and back.

Pray that God will pour out HIS SPIRIT on us as never before!

Pray for the salvation of the lost; repentance and renewal in the life of God’s people; new people to become part of our Church Family; the calling out of ministers and missionaries; a spiritual awakening in our area; and, for Jesus Christ to be glorified in all that we do!

Matthew 6:7-13
⁷ “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.
⁸ Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
⁹ Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
¹⁰ Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
¹¹ Give us this day our daily bread,
¹² and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
¹³ And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

“Revival – on earth”

One of the real challenges we face when we think about spiritual things – such as revivals – is that can seem sort of “pie in the sky” or “bye and bye” events that do not really matter here and now.

Nothing can be further from the truth!

Revival is a very practical matter and we need revival “Here and Now!”

Being renewed by the Spirit of God will certainly and dramatically affect how we think and – of course – how we think will affect how we live… here and now.

Jesus prayed to HIS Father with a focus on the here and now. We ought to be praying in the very same way.

Pray that the LORD’s will be done; “on earth as it is in heaven.”

Pray that the LORD’s work will be done; “on earth as it is in heaven.”

Pray that the LORD’s people will live; “on earth as (we will) in heaven!

Revival CAN happen, it really CAN happen!

Will we really have revival?

We will soon see!
